VIDEO: Gotta love a Duffy

By February 14, 2011Orange County

Who wouldn’t love it? A 2-hour sunset cruise in Newport Harbor is so relaxing and fun with friends. Duffy Boats invited us to get our sea legs ons and they are sharing the love with you too (keep reading). We went to celebrate a birthday, or you could opt for an anniversary, a party with friends, relatives in town—it’s all good. The boats seat 10-12. We really had a great time and the kids had a total crush on taking the captain’s chair and driving the Duffy. Here’s a look at our day out:

You can bring any feast you’d like with a bottle of wine and drinks. And the boats have an iPod hookup or you can brings CDs.

If you really want to go easy and breezy, have your cruise catered by one of Duffy Newport’s local restaurant partners. The Back Bay Bistro was kind enough to cater our cruise with gourmet wraps, salads and more. Back Bay met us at the dock 15 minutes before our cruise, and brought our feast of fabulousness. They’ll arrange any meal you’d like—and they even have a children’s menu.

So want to win that Duffy cruise? Easy (the only way I roll). Just take a look at the video and comment here on what about the cruise looks the most fun to you. For an extra chance to win, also comment at my blog at OC Family, and amp your cruising odds.Good luck. I’ll pick a winner Random.org) this Friday, Feb. 17th so enter by then.  (Winner chooses preferred Mon-Thurs 2 hour cruise; sunset is best of course. $170 value.)
