Coppelia coming to The Barclay

By March 22, 2011Orange County

Dolls! Dolls! Dolls! FBT presents this classic, sentimental comic ballet at The Barclay March 26th and 27th.

Sweet. Light-hearted. Mysterious. The story is one of inventor Doctor Coppélius, who makes a life-size dancing doll. The FBT production is choreographed by Salwa Rizkalla, after Arthur Saint-Léon.

Guest artists for Coppélia are Megan Fairchild and Andrew Veyette of New York City Ballet.

The performance is fully family-friendly, where kids can make their own ballerina dolls during fun pre-show activities. Sweet treats too and children can meet the FBT teachers too.

RSVP to info@festivalballet.org to save your spots. Or call thebarclay.org at 949.854.4646.

Tickets are $40 adults, $30 children under 12. Saturday, March 26 7:30pm and Sunday, March 27 2:00pm at the Irvine Barclay Theater.
