VIDEO: He makes the symphony rock for kids. Meet Maxim.

By February 8, 2011Culture for Kids

He’s a rising star in the Pacific Symphony Orchestra and a rockstar in Bulgaria. He rocks helicopters, planes and rides motorcycles—and he conducts Family Musical Mornings for the PSO at Segerstrom Hall. I caught up with Maxim Eshkenazy after the latest show. Here is our chat, and by the way, there are still two more shows in the series in March and May. But first, take a look and meet Maxim, who played my Facebook “Free For All” game. He’s a good sport.

So want to check out the Family Musical Mornings with your kids? Click for details and upcoming Spring shows, which includes Beethoven’s Blockbusters and Sleeping Beauty. There is also pre- and post-show carnival fun, and the kids get to meet the artists. Also, think about that Summer Festival; we went last year and love the picnic and symphony scene.
