I\u2019m so thrilled to giveaway this fabulous weekend at the luxurious Sheraton Carlsbad Resort & Spa. We had such a fabulous time and I know anyone who visits will too. Did you know Sheraton Carlsbad offers complete stay & play travel packages? Those kind of all-in-one getaways are the best, because it means more fun and less planning. The resort offers a Metrolink package where you hop on the train nearest you, travel to the hotel for an upscale stay, and enjoy private-entrance tickets to Legoland. We went last month and couldn\u2019t have enjoyed the experience more. (To enter to win, visit my story on OC Family<\/a> and just comment at the story)<\/p>\n The train ride was great, effortless fun, and the kids were thrilled by the unique experience. (My train tip: Metrolink does almost \u201crolling stops, so hop on fast so you don\u2019t miss your train.) We took a train from San Juan Capistrano to Oceanside, then a resort shuttle picked us up at the train station and kindly took us to the hotel.)<\/p>\n The Sheraton Carlsbad Resort & Spa is really lovely if you\u2019ve never been. You\u2019re welcomed by a grand lobby, there\u2019s fabulous dining at the Twenty\/20 Grill & Wine bar (brunch is delicious!), and the pool scene is beautiful and has an ideal grill\/cocktail setup right off the pool deck (night dive-in movies too). Shortly after arriving, Zoe and I hit the Ocean Pearl Spa for a Mother\/Daughter pedi service, which was the cutest thing and very, very relaxing. Nadine in the Spa was so wonderful; she used the Fluffy Bunny shea butter line and Honey Heel Glaze with cinnamon that was out-of-control blissful. Zoe feel like a princess, I was in heaven and the Spa was a real treat for fab girl time.
