SCFTA Jazz and Blues Weekend – May 7th and 8th, 2016

Unwind with SCFTA, and get your jazz—and blues on. Orange County audiences can look forward to two special concerts in May that will highlight the best of jazz, blues and R&B music. And both concerts take place in the beautiful Renée and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall.

The first concert is May 7 at 7:30 p.m., and features venerated bluesman Charlie Musselwhite, Grammy^®-nominated R&B vocalist Bettye LaVette and “The Godfather of British Blues,” John Mayall. On May 8 at 3:00 p.m., Grammy^® Award-winning singer and songwriter Lisa Fischer, legendary Hammond B-3 organist Dr. Lonnie Smith and Grammy^® Award-winning vocalist and songwriter Gregory Porter will take to the stage.
