If you’re an Indie fan and desert-bound anytime soon, you may want to put The Answer Man on your list.
You’ll laugh, relate and can getaway for some artful intake, as the Indie flick “The Answer Man” rolls out in SoCal (Palm Desert area) today.
The film, from first-time writer-director John Hindman and Indie and foreign film leader Magnolia pictures, stars Jeff Daniels and Lauren Graham.
The sitch is that Arlen, the reclusive author of “Me and God,” has his world turned upside down when he meets single-mom Elizabeth, who might have his answers and his salvation. (Hey, we’re women, it’s what we do, right?)
Moms, the film is “R” so no kiddos; think Date Night getaway or Girls’ Night Only. Maybe a Lemon Drop martini, an artful movie, adult conversation/humor… what a concept.
The exclusive showing is at Cinémas Palme D’Or—known for independent, foreign, documentary, experimental and classic film.
