OC looks at OC life
Daily Wardrobe Malfunction

Daily Wardrobe Malfunction

February 12, 2009

Am I alone? Is there anyone else having the wardrobe meltdowns I’m having with my fashionista 5 yr-old?

Every day it happens. She simply can’t pick an outfit and be done. Zoe has to change into 3 different looks ... something doesn’t match, it fits too tight, or who knows what or why. What haunts me is my thoughts of “Did I create this little diva?” As a new mom to a little girl, I got all the baby boutique items (on sale) and dressed my little pint-size princess in the fun, fancy, trendy styles, and now I see I may have created my morning migraine. Me, maybe I did it!

If I could only turn back time, would I resist the latest leopard look? The 2-piece, to-die-for Baby Lulu. We’re working on one outfit a day now and no stress over clothes. It’s a slow process, and If anybody has quick fix advice, bring it on!

Thank God I got a boy the second time around: one outfit, it’s on and we’re out. Ahhh.

peace out

Love your site/blog. First OC Mom site I’ve seen that I really like.

I think it’s innate.  My 20 month old insists on picking out her own shoes everyday.  What’s scary is she comes up with better looks than I do!!!

Everyday I hope to be a little more like my yellow lab, Teddy. He loves everything, everybody, and is only occasionally stressed by escalators.
