Could You Ever? Love or Crime?

Couldn’t shake this interview I saw last week on GMA with John West. West helped his parents “exit,” kept the secret for 10 years and now tells all in his new book, The Last Goodnights. Would you ever? Would you want your kids to help you? I’m on the fence, but wish this LA writer might not have done the book thing, and just spread the message. Then again, I know others that would buy the book now after hearing his story. Watch for yourself.

I agree with him 100% they should change the law, we will allow a vet to end the life of a animal but why not humans.—RC

Absolutely agree! When I was a new mother, my own mother asked me if and when the time came, would I help her if she became too sick to survive. I said yes and never thought about it again. Years later she became very sick and in much pain and came to live with us. Hospice came in and gave her morphine for pain. On that fateful night she was in terrible pain. I remembered our conversation from long ago and stepped up her dosage of morphine. In no time, she was gone with a very peaceful and not pained look on her face. It was the last loving thing I could do for her. Ellen
