Mirah's Back

Indie gal, Mirah, just released her new sounds this month after almost a decade of waiting.

(A)spera is the title, and it’s got the same breathy, light, girlish voice, but with a more mellow vibe than Mirah’s previous, hugely successful and still amazing Advisory Committee. (You may know “The Garden” from her last album, which exploded to the mainstream during last season’s “So You Think You Can Dance.”)

Both albums are great to decompress with, to enjoy some fun funk, play anytime on the ipod or host a party to.

Which is better? That’s tricky, as there’s still an addiction for the first, but an open mind for the latest.
