This one’s for the kids—and the parents.
Do you know this Jack Johnson album from the ’06 film Curious George? It timeless, rocks and is a great way to expose kids early to real talent and empowered tunes. Plus, parent will dig it. Ahh, everyone’s happy
My kids watched the movie over the weekend and I couldn’t get enough of the music.
A little background on the album: Jack, a new dad, made the album for both parents and kids. He crafted the songs from scratch to capture emotions and speak to a child’s view of the world, as well as serve as the soundtrack of a non-vocal monkey.
Gotta say that cute little George is one of the few TV characters I can take. He’s so naughty and well, seems like my little guy in monkey fur. Always up to something.
I plan to buy the cd on iTunes and probably as a more inspired birthday gift at upcoming kids’ parties. While many may have the movie, few probably have the cd.
