Spook and Awe

Disney got their spook on Halloween style.

And PLM got the sights and frights firsthand thanks to a VIP tour this past weekend. See my video and live photo look at the ghoulish attractions when PLM was invited to tour the parks with some fellow fabulous media moms, including Suzanne from Alive In Wonderland, who I whrrled and laughed with all day, as well as my funny friend Marcy from the glam Glamorous Life and the great gals from Just-Spotted.

The Halloween haunt marks only the third year Disney has done up the place to creep and please. Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy was a serious scream. The Haunted Mansion is charmingly spooky. And there’s an amazing Halloween fireworks show through the end of the month (sit by the castle to see the moving projections as Suz did).

It’s no doubt that the Disney Imagineers know their stuff, know kids and know to scare the you-know-what out of ‘em—and then charm them into wanting more, more!

And OC moms, you’ll enjoy feeling like a kid again and getting lost in memories of haunted good times. We all need a little unstoppable cackling fear paired with laid-back pumpkin patch relaxation.
