Powell’s Sweet Shoppe in Laguna Niguel is an old-time, old-fashioned, new candy store made from imagination.
A trip to this heaven-on-earth candy store makes a great treat for well-done “kidness.” And moms, you’ll feel like a kid again with retro sugary finds like Zero bars, Toffifay, Zebra striped gum and more.
Powell’s also serves up to-die-for gelato and they have a fridge full of classic drinks like Orange Crush, Dad’s rootbeer and yoohoo.
Psst, OC moms if you’ve got a kiddo with a birthday coming up, you may want to host it at Powell’s in their fun-fashioned party room. Partygoers get to go on a candy scavenger hunt to find 30 pieces of candy hidden somewhere in the store. The kids get to keep their candy loot, they get a birthday gelato and you get to skip the party cleanup. Sweet, indeed.
