Shortcut To Beauty: Bring The Stylist To You. For some, getting a haircut can be a blissful afternoon escape alone. For others, arranging the time to get there and back can quickly cut the beauty of it all.

Why not cut the chaos and have your stylist come to you. Now, the “divadressers” probably won’t make the journey, but frankly, who needs them and their $300 bill, but these days you may just find some highly skilled hairdressers willing to make the trip. They get to skip the drive to the shop and the rent for the space.

Ask your favorite hairdresser to bring her shears and dye and stop by. If she’s not up for it, ask around, some fellow moms may know just the gal. (Now, careful when asking: you may get the “oh, there’s a gal on the block who used to do hair, she’ll probably come by”. Every street has one, but note words used to.)
